GRAPEVINE – U.S. Congressman Kenny Marchant (TX-24) recently visited Ethicus Hospital and participated in a roundtable discussion with medical staff in Grapevine. 

The purpose of Marchant’s visit was to listen to the perspectives of doctors, nurses and other medical staff in regard to the health care system.  Current health care legislation was the primary focus of the discussion. 

“Open and frank discussions like this are helpful to better understand what can and cannot be done to improve health care in America,” said Marchant.  “It’s important to hear from as many perspectives as possible, and the staff at Ethicus has provided some very productive and firsthand insight into the health care process.”   

After the roundtable discussion, Marchant participated in a guided tour of the facility. 

The event marked one of many meetings during the month of August which Marchant has discussed health care with constituents from District 24.
